Project One

I used some ‘whoosh’ sounds that had good low impact to it for the two main cape swings. The low end adds the ‘umph’ and strength to those cape swings when listening to it. I utilized a metal slide sound to get that main knife throw sound. I added a little delay to emphasize the visual importance of the throw. I implemented a low impact to further emphasize this main visual keyframe in the movement. It helps emphasize the slowing down of this frame as well. I used some mid-frequency wind noises to further illustrate the smaller cape movements towards the end of this sequence. There is a similar, but slightly lower in frequency wind noise used to emphasize her leg kick at the same time. Finally, I implemented a room reverb to bring all elements into the same sonic space, followed up by some light compression to glue everything together!
